US Army Stewart & Stevenson M1078 LMTV, refurbished. This truck has been fully serviced, and is in excellent condition. Many items on this truck were overhauled or replaced with new. Included is a custom roof rack with integral ladders on both sides of cab. Michelin XZL 395/85R20 tires with matching spare, all (5) five tires on overhauled and freshly powder coated wheels.

Cargo capacity in stock configuration is 5,000 lbs; the bed has been removed from this truck, along with other items that are not used outside of military service. Total weight removed is approximately 3,000 lbs. The truck is currently configured at approximately 8,000 lbs less GVW—plenty of capacity for a fully outfitted camper van, and extra fuel and water storage.

The M1078 Standard Cargo Truck is designed to transport cargo and troops. The M1078 has a payload capacity of 5,000 pounds and to facilitate loading/unloading, the bed side rails are mounted on hinges and can be lowered. The cargo bed can be equipped with an optional bench seat kit for troop seating. The bench seats are constructed of metal material and attach to the cargo bed side rails. The seats can be folded down and stowed when not in use. Troops are assisted climbing in and out of the cargo bed area with the aid of a ladder stowed on the vehicle when not in use. A canvas and bows kit is available for the bed
